Whistling noise from turbo engine when decelerating

Hi,

I bought my 2016 EXT a couple weeks ago, and I have been hearing this
tiny whistling noise when I take my foot off the brake pedal or when braking
at low speeds. Is this normal? I never owned a car that made this noise...

Its normal for turbos to make this noise.

I wouldn't go with a blanket statement like that without a little more explanation of the issue. My car makes some odd sounds, but I don't remember a whistling... You might hear a whirring when accelerating hard, or a bit of a whistle or 'air' sound when letting off the gas suddenly, but that's about it.
