Hey guys and gals. Looking to pick up a set of 18x9 +35 as this seems to be best fitment when lowered. However, tire rack insists that they will not sell me wheels that “don’t fit” my car which while frustrating is understandable. Research on the forums says that 18x9 +35 should fit even on D2s so I’m pretty confident this is the route I want to take. Would like to stick with tire rack so they can mount the Michelin P SS on the wheels for me but I need to find a car that runs a 5x114.3 and fits the aforementioned wheels so I can say that’s what I’m buying for. If anyone has any thoughts on this one it would be greatly appreciated but if no joy then I’ll just buy them seperste and deal with mounting and balancing. Also leaning towards 255-245 for tire fitment but this may restrict lowering more than I’d like but I can’t see less than 245

Your best bet might be to use a Mitsubishi Evolution X as your vehicle. Stock Evo wheels are 18x8.5 and +38.
