I use my Type R as my daily driver and take it to 3-4 track days / year (buttonwillow, streets, chuckawalla). Stock pads are wearing thin on the Type R so I'm considering replacing with Raybestos ST43 or Project Mu Club Racer. Anyone here have experience with them? Whats your preference for a mostly street with occasional track days car?

I haven't used Raybestos ST43, so I can't really compare. I have used Club Racers on my S, and I can say it's too much for most on the street. I get looks all the time because the squeal so much. I would rather have a pad I can trust than care about noise. I am currently using WinMax W5's on the S with a StopTech ST40 kit and I love it. When I upgrade to track pads I will probably do the WinMax's myself, but that's a biased opinion based off my usage of it.

I do have friends that have street pads and rotors and track pads and rotors and swap out after their events.
