Hey Everyone,

I live in Southern California and in an apartment complex. My civic is always outside, unfortunately, and I love hand washing my car.

Has anyone had success at finding a hose connection to a commercial building during after hours to wash their car?

Coin operated pressure wash places don’t want bucket washing if there is someone there they will kick you out. The exception once was an owner who said fine as long as I kept feeding the meter. I got by for a while running a hose in my apt complex but by the time I moved out they put a stop to the practice.

I've used the coin car wash a few times years ago in the winter when the weather was cold & I wanted to get the road salt off the car. I went late at night when nobody else was there & brought a bucket half filled with soapy water & a sponge so I could actually hand wash the car after covering it with pressure washer soap. And then pressure rinsed. Since nobody else was waiting could dry it inside the bay where it was slightly warmer.

If it’s not too dirty you can do a water less wash. Or even a quick detailer on
I agree with CJ.
I use a waterless wash. No hose needed. I use either Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere
Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere (meguiarsonline.com)

To save $, cash, bux, I make a 4:1 solution from a concentrate of
Meguiar's Detailer Professional Line D115 Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax
D115 Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax (meguiarsonline.com)

Every few waterless washes, I top it off with Meguiar's Ultimate Fat Finish.

This is a 2018 Burgundy Night Pearl, 30 minutes before sunset, so it is shifting to black.
