I don't know about Canada, but all gasoline in the US has to meet a minimum standard. What separates Top Tier gas from "cheap gas" is the additive packages (detergents)

Top Tier goes beyond the basic government requirements but it only takes into consideration detergent add pack minimums according to the Top Tier Standard. It doesn’t take into account quality of the fuel, water content, contamination, etc. It is only a Standard that gas companies MAY apply and conform with... I’m agreeing with your statement.

Costco for my top tier gasoline needs. Local chevron on my daughters way to school for e54 but it isnt a chevron product.

Costco. Unless I am almost out. Haven't stranded myself yet. Anybody out there run out yet? I pulled into Costco gas once with the range showing 0 miles left on it. Honda knows Americans like to push it, so I think there is at least a gallon or more left when it shows empty.

My wrx goes to 20ish miles then “- -“. Ive gone like that for 10-20mi for costco gas.

Wherever the closest gas station is at the time I need gas. I mostly pump at 7-11 (I live near one) or Exxon. Idk if there’s a way to officially test all 93 gas consistently.
