Wheel Tire setup

Hey guys , please help a newbie out with a your quick suggestion.

Just mounted Conti ExtremeContact Sport 265/35/18 on CE28 18 inches +38 off set. Gap looks like crap so planning to drop it with swift spring. Will it rub after the drop ? The tire tread width is 9.4 inches .

Hey, curious what you ended up doing. I have Work ZR-10 18x9.5" +38 with 265/35R18 Toyo R888R and rub like crazy. Thinking of trying Falken Indy Firehawk 255/35R18 and see how it goes as it's a size narrower and heard those also run narrower.

To let any readers know what the outcome was as I really don't want to rub in any situations I changed the tires to the Firehawks 255/35/R18 and pleased to report ZERO RUBBING! Doens't look as cool as they aren't as fat and created a bit of a wheel gap as well but I'll take that over the rubbing.

Those R888R were crazy fat through, I'm wondering if I could have even done 265 Firehawks but didn't want to risk it and be stuck with still some rubbing.
