I’m not really one for “naming“ my vehicles. I refer to mine as “The si” kinda how I’ve referred to my truck as ”the truck” or “the hemi” but can’t say I’ve ever named a vehicle. I definitely like calling them pieces of shit now an again

I haven’t named my Si.

My father had an old 9th gen Thunderbird. (The same kind I was brought home in, as a newborn.)

He called it, “The Animal”.
His had the the Mustang V8 engine. He loved that car. Lasted him 15 years, before it just gave him too many problems to keep fixing.


And back when we were first dating, my wife, had a 2002(?) Grand Marquis, that she inherited from her grandpa.

She lovingly called it, “The Tank”.
After all the abuse it endured.
I inherited this car much later on, and really loved driving it. A real cruiser. I took care of it. Repairs, body, detailing. We sold it to a nice young lady later.

At this point, we just call my car, “The Si”.
I love it a lot, but there’s nothing about it to warrant a nickname.
