What's your SI looking like today?

Looks like I'll be among lowest miles then. Probably hit 15k miles next year after almost 4 years ownership. I believe my work is about 3 miles roundtrip. I do go back during breaks sometimes real quick. Need to cut those miles out!

I can average roughly 39.x miles round trip if I somewhat go easy on the throttle, but my last 2 trips I’m getting low 30s, because, well… it’s more fun

Well I already did emblem in black plasti dip which came out okay just one or two semi rough spots. Think I might have sprayed too close last coat or two. Trying above doors tomorrow morning prepping tonight. Yes I know can buy those strips but I have two cans so might as well try this method.

I avg 28, pretty much all city. My rare highway trips are 35+ easily.

I would cover the rest of the car with plastic to guard against overspray. Then, yeah, alcohol wipe the chrome so it’s fully clean, then light coats. GL!

Speaking of tires might need to rotate mine. Although it probably won't help much. Factory all season tires are pretty shitty for Si. I don't want to replace them till at least 20k miles on them though.

You see that's my problem with it. I can do light coats for first and maybe second spray but then after few beers in I just go crazy with spray. I'm about to go see if it worked or screwed up right now. Hopefully least one side is good...

Edit-. Passenger side seems good but have two nicks on drivers side maybe when pulling tape off. One is by mirror and other at thick part near gas lid. I assume I can just leave rest on then spray some more in the nicks?

I average about 22mpg atm I drove very chill for awhile and got 24mpg but my app I use goes hmmm nah that’s to good you just have missed a fill up…
