Dropped of my car this morning for oil change/tire rotation and to check how much to replace the valve cover gasket would cost and the price they told me was $540 (ridiculous).
I almost laughed, but respectfully told the service guy no thanks.
Ended up grabbing the gasket for $15 so my buddy can do it for me over the weekend.

It's honestly ridiculous. I was expecting them to say $200ish and then I would have considered doing it only bc of the 1yr warranty on it incase anything else happens, but sheesh they are practically 2-3x the cost nowadays.

I feel sorry for the folks paying in excess of $6 a gallon.
