I just got my car back!! The original 12 day timeframe was extended to a 24 day time frame but I’m glad to have it back now! I needed a new quarter panel, wheel, A arm, taillight, strut, and other stuff I’m forgetting. I can’t wait to finally get back behind the wheel and feel my TSP stage 1 tune again!

I’ll do you one better ? I got mine back today, over a month of the ‘performance’ shop having it. Initial estimate was 5 days of work. After 27 potential days for them to work on it, it’s done. But they still forgot to install my PRL SS clutch line ??‍.

$5,000 and a couple shed tears later, here’s what i had done.
Main work:
-Competition Stage 2 22lb clutch kit install
-ARP Head Studs w/ Cometic head gasket
-.002” Deck job on the head.
Miscellaneous:
-Whiteline FSB with endlinks installed
-Mobil1 0w20
-New NGK Iridium ILZKAR8J8SY spark plugs
-Alignment because of subframe shift
-Fluids and gaskets etc.

I have a complete summary breakdown of the whole job if anyone is interested in what the hell led to it costing so much.

On a side note, I got the ARK DT-S catback installed today at work just after i got it back. Sounds better than the muffler delete with 10% of the drone, LOVE IT!

Went to Honda to get the stupid clip for the side shifter cable from when I installed the acuity goodies in. Talked to parts guy and got the 20-21 type r shift for 35$ so I did it. (And ordered the 20-21 type r shift knob…not in yet) install was easy, man the knob is low. I like it.
Left is 19 si
Right is 20 type r

I currently have the 18-19 CTR shifter in my car. Would it be worth it to replace with the 20-21 shifter?
What changes were made to it?

Even more shorter throw. Shift knob sits lower as well.
