What's your SI looking like today?

If you could have one mod right now, what would it be?

Here I go for the hat trick (3 posts in a row ?)

quick ? for the more knowledgeable folks in here…. Tires/tire sizes kinda confuse me, I was wondering, would stock tires work on an 8.5-9” wheel width, safely? I plan on ordering wheels possibly this week, and wanted to know what I can work with.

sorry to ask that in here, but figured I’d get an answer quicker than making a new thread. Plus it’s been kinda dead in here for most of the day…

thanks in advance.
I feel you in that sometimes this place is poppin’, sometimes it’s nappin’.

Here ya go:

According to this chart, which was pulled from a mechanics forum online, 235 is the minimum for a 9” rim, which is 1” over the 18x8 OEM rim size.

i had the stock tires on a 9" wide wheel and it was fine. it was stretched and its not a good idea to race or do any agility stuff with a stretched tire but i didnt want to buy new tires back then

thanks, fellas!

I currently have less than 7k miles on these tires, and don’t do much crazy driving on them, just the occasional back roads when time permits, and the wife isn’t with me. I was thinking to get new rubber, and keep the stocks for winter or whatever, but I kinda doubt I’d end up doing that… stocks would end up sitting in my garage, and dry rotting.

Stock tires work fine on 8.5" wide wheels ... and they start to get stretched on a 9" wheel, but it works fine.

A truck passing by kicked up a 1x4 ... which went under my car ... and stayed under my car!

SOOOOO thankful it didn't puncture anything other than the flimsy aluminum under tray.!!!

No way in Heaven or Hell, that I'm trading in my baby Kaiju!

It'll be a quick fix on her next oil change.
