What's your SI looking like today?

If you could have one mod right now, what would it be?

So working on RMM, got it off. Anyways I’m replacing with type R. Does it matter which side is facing up. I didn’t look when I pulled the stock one out as that part was a struggle.
Because the type r mount is slightly different on the one side

he has a type r now

vs me im thinking of selling it for a new truck lol
Ahaha well I do have to get another Truck/SUV/Van for transporting all the goods once Blue is gone.

CTR was taking on that duty the past couple months, and was pretty good for hauling stuff around too if I may add but it's going to be parked up for winter.

Thoughts:
- look at the frame mount. If the bottom mount side is more flat than the other (which might be concave), that might be a clue.
- set both RMMs side by side, and look for the orientation on the CTR RMM that most closely matched the perpendicular alignment of the Si RMM.

I realized after taking a break I’m pretty sure it says up on the one side and also figured the that the concave side should be facing down, also it’s a slightly used one I got for shipping cost and realized there’s a blue paint dot so, the member potentially could have have done that to denote facing down.

so that’s what I’m gonna go with.

Got it.

I would imagine that, upon install, one orientation would simply seem to ‘fit’ better than the other orientation (i.e. when installing the RMM in one orientation, you might have to push it into alignment with the engine, vs. the other orientation, where it might ‘fall’ into place). Just a thought.

It’s 69 ft/lb correct for the horizontal 19mm, and 55ft/lbs for the vertical 17mm. That’s what I found. Thought it was 69 for both but then double checked. Sorry I suck

Ah, yeah, ??.

I wonder if we might be splitting hairs. I plan on using blue locktite + ‘gud-n-tight’. ? Hasn't failed me yet, after all these years.

Maybe it’s just placebo effect, but keep in mind I didn’t do any modifications until about 55k miles so everything is well broken in. But I can tell just a slight difference. Im going to do a couple pulls after errands. But I’ll take it for 15$. Hahaha
