Yes. New track in Missouri, Ozark International Raceway. It was really fun.

I have the same hood, no pins. The OEM latch works fine for me for freeway speeds. Never had any flutter or anything. How is it for you at track speeds?

Same here the OEM latch has worked fine. I hit 145 mph on an airport straight away and I noticed fluttering around 120 to 130mph. The track didn’t have a good straightaway, maybe hit 105 a few times.

One of the reasons I chose that hood is because of the top gills. I suspect it reduces under-hood pressure. I wonder if the OEM hood would also flutter at the same speeds.

I've done 140 in my car before. No flutter with the stock hood.

In the sedan the rear end starts to float if you get up near those speeds... It has definitely caught me off guard while going much slower than that hah

Are you lowered? I don't see springs or coils on your build list. I don't recall any float-y feeling when I went 140 mph (I've only done that once almost two years ago now). Actually, the lasting impression I got when I did 140 was that the car is surprisingly stable at speed lmao. I'm lowered on Eibach Pros.

I actually am on eibach pro-kit springs now but that is my most recent addition, the instance I am remembering was quite a long time ago as well but I was not lowered at all so that does change things. When I get on track next year if I can hit those speeds on a straight i'll follow up haha
