What's your SI looking like today?

If you could have one mod right now, what would it be?

Finally got my 2022 Si shift knob in the mail! It really blends into the interior and looks like it came from the factory with it. A bit heavier than the stock knob and shifts feel really good. I didn't get a chance to weigh it but apparently the stock 10th gen Si knob is 180 grams, this should be somewhere around 200-220 grams just by comparing them in my hands side by side. Installation was trouble free as well.

Installed at like 9 last night and didn't get a chance to drive the car unfortunately or get the best pictures in the dark. Please excuse the finger smeared screen lol

No picsā€¦ we all know what a chipped windshield looks like ?

good thing I paid for windshield coverage when I bought the car.

hope all is well with everyone!
Mine has probably 3-4 super small chips that aren't really visible unless your like 6 inches from the glass. Not sure what these newer windshield's are made of but it really doesn't hold up well.

On my second one
I have lots of tiny dings now I'm going to try a Diamondite decontamination/polishing kit to remedy

Let me know if it helps. I did Ceramic coat mine when I did the whole car while it was new and I think it has helped me negate some bigger chips/cracks but It will likely need redone sometime soon.

Now lets see them in the car! I'll be wrapping all mine to match springtime once it's a little warmer out since it's probably about a days worth of work to get all the pieces out wrapped and back in.
Oh, donā€™t you worry, Iā€™ll post pics. ? The install wouldā€™ve been a 30-sec process, but I went down the rabbit hole for about 2 hrs trying to ā€˜fixā€™ an insignificant non-issue with my shifter, which I wasnā€™t able to resolve. ? Once I was able to get back to my original trim removal/install, it was too late for good pics, and I was done with day by that time.

I will say, though, that installing the new Pegasus trim was tense! ? I was so afraid Iā€™d snap a clip or something. Happy to report everything went fine, but, for posterity, TAKE YOUR TIME! ?

Stay tuned!

OMGosh, the install was tense! Went slow to be sure I didnā€™t scratch or break anything. ? Iā€™ll say installing this kit raised my blood pressure! Glad itā€™s done, and looks superb, I think!
