I thought it would be fun to see how far everyone has taken their car to the edge. So, what is the furthest you have driven on a single tank of gas in your 10th gen Si? We've seen MPGs from everywhere between 28 and 50. We are looking for distance here. This is on the honor system so don't fib please.

I'll add a poll here too for the hell of it.

I'll start. I've gone 393 miles on a single tank of 93 octane. :drive:

OMG! I need to update the poll!. I didn't think that was possible. Do you remember what your MPGs were?

I got 40 MPG on the highway but did not use a full tank of gas so it would equate +/- 480

Honda's MPG meters are garbage. Seeing 40mpg on the dash will actually equate to 38mpg at the pump. But for me, anywhere from 350 to 380mi (30% and the rest feeder raods)

about 350-400. I average about 32MPG both city and highway. I do occasional pulls and first time manual driver. If I were to always drive conservatively and was a more experienced manual driver, I think i could do a lot better.

42+?

I also pump extra fuel once it tops off. Maybe thats why its the extra range. Once the gas light turns on and i fill in Gas its usually about 11.4+ gallons of Fuel.

Looking back through my Road Trip app, My furthest distance driven was 530 miles. Fill up was 12.171 gallons averaging 43.55 mpg for that tank. (Although that wasn't my record MPG for a tank. My best is 44.77 MPG on one tank) I always fill till the first click and don't top off my tank, and also always use premium - 93 Octane in my area. I'm sure I could get 550 out of a tank if I did a road trip on flatter ground.

Question:
If you drove to 12.171 gallons, you probably drove past the "0 miles" left on the range indicator. Do you remember how far past it you went?

My max has been 409 but a bunch of tanks in the 380-390 range. My overall mpg is 35.5 since I got my car in 7/17 and that's actual, not car info.

The most I ever squeezed out of a full tank of 93 octane on this Si was around 440 miles, no highway, just around town bumming. I may not see these numbers again since I put on my super sticky Michelin summers. Since these tires, my best has been 430 miles

I fill up at a 1/4 tank, nearly always. Based on Fuelly, I've been averaging 34.1 mpg combined. At with 1/4 tank left, the most I've traveled is 337 miles. But theoretically, I should be able to get 422.499 on a tank (34.1 miles x 12.39 gallons), but I'd never run it that low.

I usually fill up around 400-410 mile mark. When I fill up at this mark, the range till empty is usually 40-60 or so miles (1-2 gallons remaining).. not enough for my commute (70 miles round trip). It usually takes 10.5-11 gallons. I run premium (93 octane).

I don't often fill up until I get to 0 miles on my range. I think I probably went around 50 or 60 miles past zero. My commute is nearly 60 miles and 90% highway, so I rarely get less than 450 miles out of a tank. Unless I do a lot of Uber driving which pulls my mileage down.
