What's up with the huge fake vents?

Did a quick Photoshop on the official blue Si photo. Not at all an ideal vent-free rear bumper, but it's an approximation of what a smooth bumper might look like at this size.

I’m surprised no one has come out with some body-color covers. A bit of 3m tape and problem solved, if you don’t like them.

At least i can stick some reflective stickers on those.. then they are somewhat functional
