I’ve used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0w20 and Quaker State Fully Synthetic 0w20 thus far. I was thinking of doing an oil analysis between different brands.

I might start using Redline 0w20 on track days due to it having a higher viscosity at warm temperatures than other 0w20 oils.

I use the kind that is slippery and lubricates,

Seriously, people worry way too much about oil,

When it comes to oil, all you need to do is......

1 - change your oil at the proper intervals
2 - use API approved synthetic 0w20

that is it, if you do those two things you are fine,

the name on the bottle is not relevant if you do those two things,

it is simple, stop making it complicated,

The oil filter is more important than the oil itself, you should be more concerned about that

But I guess to answer the question, I use quaker state, not because I feel it is any better than other brands, just because it's the oil I have used in all my engines for the past 40 years, so why bother changing?

I used Honda oil the first two changes that I did myself. Last oil change was at my Indi and they put in Mobil 1. As stated above most any synthetic oil that has the proper rating and viscosity should be fine when changed at reasonable intervals.

Any approved synthetic 0w20 is fine,

Brand name won't make any difference, as long as you change it at the proper intervals,
