I thought I would post something a little different from the everyday mundane questions and threads. I'm curious what you guys (and gals) have done with your Trump bucks when it comes to upgrading your cars. This is not just limited to Civic's, but any other car you own. Doing my civic duty (no puns intended), here's what I did with some of my stimulus money:

Honda Civic 10th gen What have you done with your Trump bucks? 1591895029514

RR Racing Ultimate Steering Response System Lower Control Arm Polyurethane bushing
Price: $348 shipped
Installation ease: Moderate
Installed last Friday

What it does: Non F-Sport Lexus IS250/350 are known for their softer steering, especially when cornering and braking. The USRS LCA bushing tightens steering, eliminates unwanted suspension movement, and completely eliminates "steering slop" under hard braking. It also allows road feel, which is a common complaint with the IS350

Honda Civic 10th gen What have you done with your Trump bucks? 1591896093162

F-Sport Sway bar set
Price: $380 shipped
Installation ease: Easy
Installed last Friday

What it does: Eliminates excessive body roll in turns and helps with oversteer conditions (RWD)

Honda Civic 10th gen What have you done with your Trump bucks? 1591896539436

RR Racing Front big brake kit Stage II
Price: $1349 shipped
Installation ease: Unknown
Installed: Not installed yet

I think the picture says it all LOL

Future projects should there be a round two of Trump bucks:

Honda Civic 10th gen What have you done with your Trump bucks? 1591896809166

RR Racing Cusco RS LSD Differential
Price: $1660 shipped
Installation ease: Advanced, best left to a professional!

Honda Civic 10th gen What have you done with your Trump bucks? 1591897009580

Lexus IS/GS350 ODB ECU Upgrade Tune
Price: $500 shipped
Installation ease: Easy

Raises the Redline to 7200 RPM and unlocks an additional 15whp

So guys and gals, let me know what you've done with your stimulus money! Let's be good citizens and put our tax money to work to make our cars great again!

I have a set of those for my winter wheels that I bought off someone used. Thought they were pretty nice looking and the grey finish looks nice against my red. My only complaint is that the paint is bubbling a bit around the center hub.

My 10th gen Si got a pretty nice make over during this time. Obviously the stimulus did not cover all of this but it definitely helped and initiated this process.

New mods-

Mishimoto FMIC with charge pipes (stimulus paid for this)
Hondata Flashpro with TSP Stage 1 tune
PRL race maf cobra intake
MAperformance front pipe/downpipe and street exhaust (burnt tips)
Clutch Masters FX400 with SS clutch line

Obviously, I didn't get the Trump's bucks, but, in July,
I should get the Trudeau's bucks.
With that money, I'll be able to radically change my SI.
How much would that be ?
$ 300 , about 220 us $ ! A real joke !

Wait, wait hold on! I thought Canadians were getting $2000 a month? That's what our media reported. Here in the US we got $1200 for an individual and $2400 for a family with $500 per child 17 and under. After $150K salary for a family, the amount goes down

Realistically it barely covers the insurance bill for my cars. It’s been relatively quiet couple of months in terms of performance upgrades. I’m actually will be shedding 3000 lbs of weight from my cars pretty soon. ;)

Does that mean you are getting rid of one of them? No...not the CTR PLEASE! BTW, I'm heading down to SoCal next Thursday. Maybe we can get a quick Starbucks...socially distanced of course!
