I took delivery of one of the first 2016 Civic Touring Sedans in October 2015.
Except for some wild uncontrolled beeping from the menu system, I have had no problems with this car.
About 5 months ago, just before it went out of Honda warranty at 35,900 miles, I asked the dealer to upgrade all the firmware.
.
I am a big fan of ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LSF (Low Speed Follow).
But, recently I noticed that it no longer works the way it did. It now behaves like a dumb cruise control.
Before I spend $$$ to have the dealer look at it, I'd like to make sure that I haven't disabled something accidentally.
.
Instead of seeing "ACC" and "LKAS" on my dashboard, all I get is a little box that says "Cruise Mode".
The vehicle icon, distance bars, and "set speed" do not appear.

I can't be certain whether this change occurred when the firmware was "updated" or before or after.

What am I doing wrong?
Do I have a service issue?
Maybe the dealer installed the wrong firmware?
What can I try?

This may sound stupid but did you hit the acc/lkas buttons to turn them on?

RTFM. There is a way to switch between ACC and normal cruise control.

It's possible to switch between ACC and regular cruise control.

Here is the page in the manual that explains how:

Maybe you inadvertently switched the mode.

It is quite possible that I turned it off without meaning to.
I read pages 411 through 426, but I stopped when it became redundant.
The page you quoted was 428. Doh!!
Thanks for pointing me to the right place. I'll try it tomorrow.
