They not that hard to install. Plus the downforce solutions ones are predrilled and they fall out on the plastic push pins under the car.

How do you like the front splitter and diffuser? I am thinking about it since I cannot get the splitter from bmspec or aerobattle...for the side skirt I want the fin so I may go with aeroforcedynamic and infamous for the canard...anyone have experience with any of these?

Also, did you mount it to the bumper??? I think the downforce would pull your bumper away...

Everything mounted to the bumper. Got 5000 interstate miles on it, most above 80mph, and have no issues. I love the set up. Get lots of looks and likes about it in person. Had the same splitter and side skirts on my Si as well, mounted same way, and had no issues. The holes in the bumper are going into the bracket holes that the license plate mounts to, so it's a little more sturdier right there. The side skirts have the same "wing up" on the back of them to match the front splitter as well. Here's pics of them on my old Si.

LOL - $275 I wish!
Tack on another $100...
I genuinely feel a bit like I got ripped off!
The pre-drilled holes on my splitter definitely didn’t line up.

On the Type R: Took my front bumper off, set it on a set of horses, took off the plastic trim underneath, and where every single push pin was from the plastic trim is exactly where the holes fell out. I ended up putting all the push pins right back in, and drilled new holes every wheres between those for extra safety. Put on the extra brackets that came with it where I thought they needed to go for extra stability.

On the Si: Took off front bumper, sat it on top of the splitter where I wanted it to fall out, drilled the holes where the predrilled ones were, put in the bolts.

Racebred Components splitter using their s2000 quick release chassis mounts modified to fit the CTR bumper support beam, 4 support braces behind the bumper. works very well, is very stiff. Very happy with it.

did you use 2 or 4 of their quick release chassis mounts?

the splitter it self is a custom shaped racebred part? would you be able to share the drawing, it looks perfect for the civic bumper.

Racebred sells the splitter precut specifically for the CTR, in different sizes up to 3". This one was done special in 4", thats 4" extension. I used 2 of their s2000 quick release mounts, slightly modified, but still not easy to release on CTR, doing it again i would use custom bolted adjustable mounts of similar design. I also made 4 other supports that fit behind the bumper but make the splitter rock solid. I then formed angled aluminum to fill the gap between splitter and lip.

I am on Racebreds website, and I found the FK8 CTR specific splitter, but I am a little confused when it talks about splitter length. What exactly is that measuring?

Didn't order from them, but when I was looking I had read several complaints on them and unless you live nearby, it takes like 6+ months to receive your stuff, and no communication whatsoever.

im sure everyone is aware that support rods are not meant to be mounted to the bumper.... that is the wrong way to put support rods.
APR racing actually instructs us to mount the rods to the rubber bumper. It would make more sense to me though to mount to the steel bumper like you said. I could do it either way though.
