What does the sunlight sensor have? I disconnected it and lost it. How will it affect the system?
Can it be removed? Because right now it's not worn and there are no problems.

Wouldn't this control the automatic headlights?

Your interior/exterior lights probably won't automatically turn on anymore when it gets dark.

Zeffy94 is correct, your AUTO headlight function will no longer work. That being said, I don't know if they will default to on or off when in AUTO position now without the sensor.

Also the HVAC won't work right either, it relies on sunlight data to know to cool more or less.

My car is base model and no have automatic headlight. Sensor for control automatic headlight is Automatic lighting control unit sensor. location for install same.

I will plan remove sunlight and add automatic lighting control unit sensor for diy automatic headlight.

First i don't know this point have a wire connect. And I plan up grade headlight to aotomatic. So I will remove sunlight. Now sunlight missing lose.
