So after participating here for quite some time as well as just reading the comments of other internet people about the Type R, I’m curious if actual owners (or prospective) have the same opinion. So here is another poll that should be interesting to see - what features do you think the Type R is missing, if any? You can select up to 5 options since I feel like a lot of people would select them all if able.

I guess I'm the only guy that thinks the Type R is perfect as-is. Any of this extra fluff would have brought up MSRP. 18/19 inch wheel package and a spare would have been a nice option, if I had to choose one.

I think it's perfect as is but wished it had honda sensing like every other CTR in the world.
an AWD would have been nice but that would mean more weight and stuff so idk.

A two door coupe would be nice, however, it could no longer be considered a "Hot Hatch". The rest of that stuff is fluff(as per tyler above). I bought the spare tire kit as I don't trust goop and an air compressor particularly with rubber band tires.

I thought for sure I'd see a sport exhaust option for some noise! On a serious note I wish a 19" wheel package was available retaining the correct suspension geometry, I'd absolutely pay a bit extra for that

Almost picked perfect. But that stock audio system needs work to make it enjoyable and the infotainment system could have had a better processor.

The fake carbon fiber is completely tacky. Get rid of it or replace it with something else. Cooled seats. Uncomfortable in the summer even with AC on. Honda sensing,

I'd say it should come with 19s and option for 20s. Where on this planet can you drive with 20s and not worry about potholes?
Agreed, car should've came with 18s/19s with the option for 20s. I'd also opt for AWD as well.

The only vote I cast was for Sensing, but really I just want Lane Watch. I figure it sort of fell into the same category.

Not listed but I’d say louder exhaust and higher capacity fuel pump :)

Voted perfect as is.

I think it would be nice to have sunroof, heated seat and Honda sensing as an option for those who are interested. Even though this car is designed to be a track weapon, a lot of folks use this car as their DD.

For all those who voted for Honda sensing (A lot of you), how exactly do you envision that working? Even if you only use it with cruise control on the highway, you'd still have to shift yourself. It just seems like it would be a half baked implantation.

I’m not sure how it works but the Accord and Civic (non Si / CTR, 2019+) have it paired with the MT and it is compatible. Also, European market FK8s have a trim with Honda Sensing included as well.

I too am curious to know how it works though.
