Using only Shell Nitro 93 octane for my new "Hot Hatch"! I love the way the car is running; fast and smooth!

I also just signed up for Shell rewards and now saving a little bit of cash!

I use different brands, but always top tier. 87 octane since I'm not tuned.

If anyone with the 1.5T isn't using top tier, I'd be worried.

I like Exxon 93 when I can. I might try Shell based on comments

This thread will be important for me to watch what people do with their Si's. The shell station nearest me has 93 octane at $4.40/gallon, whereas Costco is $3.64/gallon. Pretty big difference there, and I normally would buy gas just about anywhere as long as it's the cheapest... but if there is an actual difference in quality, maybe the extra $10 spent per fill-up is important.
...you get 93 octane in San Bruno? Please tell me where! I've never seen 93 in the Bay, ever -- curious to try it out.

No worries, Costco is a Top Tier Gasoline and fine for your SI.

Hy-vee or Sinclair. Have a sport so it's always 91.

Shell V-Power 91. It's also TopTier, as Honda recommends. Used that exclusively in my 2006 Acura TSX for the 11 years I had it, and not a single engine issue whatsoever, and never put any fuel additives in the tank either. The engine still purred the day I traded it in for the Civic.

Over here in Canada, PetroCanada 91 Octane, and Chevron 94 Octane every so often.

I've never tried Shell's V-Power 91 or V-Power Nitro+, but willing give it a go, and see what happens.

98RON/93AKI is what I've run all my cars on for the last 12+ years.

When it came up in a conversation with my dad he put it best: "Hey, a guy's gotta have some luxury in his life, right?"
