I remember your post now; in fact, I got my car from the same dealership as you, so maybe that's the store to go to for a good deal on a Touring trim.
Ha, thats hilarious.
I was at Hendrick Honda at Woodbridge last week and offered 25.3k for touring sedan. they said no, granted they did not have the color i wanted in stock.

I'm looking into getting a base 2016 EX but is it possible to get one under 20k Otd? Or should I be looking at an 2016 LX? I'm located in Southern Cali, thanks.

I just bought my base EX for $18889 (incl. destination) before lic/doc/tax. It was about $20,900 OTD, but I live near Chicago so my tax rate was 8.5%... I think Cali has a lower tax rate, so you should be able to get close to your 20k target.

I don't see internet price close to $18991 near your dealership, or here in Ohio or in Chicago (where I work) for Sedan. Could you please mention whether it was sedan or coupe?
Looks like they increased the prices of the 2016 EXTs (again) to $19,892 instead of what it was a few weeks ago ($18,991). This was for the sedans.

They have 5 EXTs (2016) left:

Thanks. Now I realized. $18991 is before destination charge & TTL. So it is 19826 before TTL. They add destination fees in Ohio and Chicago on their site for MSRP. I was comparing on wrong base.

???? Are you a Millionaire getting the Trump tax breaks? Taxes for normal middle class citizens should be about $1500.00.

Approx $21,400. TTL was only around $340 and $250 for a closing fee. No documentation fees or anything else.

I went to Planet Honda in Matteson, IL. Bit of a drive for me, but def worth it since all other quotes were $500-$1500 more expensive.
Use truecar, and you'll see that the truecar estimate drops about $1000 as soon as you put in Matteson's zip code compared to others in the area.

I requested an online quote, then waited a couple of days without responding to their emails, and then they sent me a "price drop" quote that was about $700 lower than their original. I finalized everything over email, then just walked in to sign the paperwork and everything went very smoothly! I recommend working with them!

I only got charged $300 for sales tax. South Carolina has a 5% sales tax on cars with a $300 limit. I'm definitely not a billionaire. Update: I didn't have to pay property taxes because I transferred my license plate from my trade in to my new car. I will have to pay property taxes next year on the new car when the registration expires.
