Hey guys I'm about to buy a new 16 civic coupe touring in BC Canada and worked out a quote which seems reasonable. The out the door price is 32,222.40$. Keep in mind the coupe is a bit more expensive than the sedan. Is this a good deal? how much room do I have to negotiate further? Thanks

What dealership are you using and how come my before taxes is more that your $20401, but your OTD is more than mine? I'm in Florida also, please list your breakdown if you can. THANKS

I'm guessing its mainly cause of my new plate. This is my first car ever. I literally got my license late June rofl.
The numbers don't really match up, I may have written it down or heard wrong but roughly:
New Plate: $548
Dealer fee: $699
Battery or what ever: $1.50
State tax: $1428.07 (7%)
^ Roughly sums up near my OTD price.

And then a part of my notes I wrote down doc 69 tag 98 but I don't exactly know if thats part of my OTD or extra or w/e.

I have to research what I should have to pay minimum for all these stuff and what I don't have to pay. If you have a idea let me know :)

Thanks ... it's only 6% where I am in Ft. Lauderdale. Just so you know, they dealer isn't allowed to charge you more for the new tag by law. They try to get it right, but if they collect more than it costs then they will send you a refund check, so no need to worry about the tag stuff ... it is what it is. Also, they should only charge you tax on the price and the dealer fee combined (unless of course you buy extras). The battery fee is state mandated. If you look at mine exact figures in my post you can compare ... my price doesn't include the plate. So if you're getting an EX-L with a new tag included for $23169 I think that's a fantastic price. Can you let me know what Dealership?
