What did you drive before your Civic?

CVT is crap. I won't even get a new SI with a weak clutch either... 2018 Hyundai Kona with 175hp/195ft-lbs 1.6T and 7-speed DCT.

I drove a 1995 SC and although it was reliable, I was short of being 100 satisfied cause it was the V6 and it had stock rims. Other than that, I loved that it was my previous cause it was used as a battering ram with all the vandalism that it was a victim off. Some random dude that I was shadowing for not even a block did a pit manuever on me and did some damage there. This black guy pulled out a broken piece of a curb and struck my vehicle. Oh my.

Different stage of life calls for a different vehicle!

I'm 32 years old, married with 3 kids. I will probably drive the Civic until it dies, as it is purely a commuter car at this point.

Before the Civic, I enjoyed my fair share of vehicles, including a 330ci, a 335i, and a 550i.

Once we had became pregnant with our 3rd child, be bought a Sienna. I bought the Civic purely to commute to and from work.

I know Civics are primarily marketed towards younger drivers, but I'm curious what other people drove before their Civic, or is it their first car?

LOL... No it was actually a desperation (used) purchase replacement for the Audi Fox GTI after that car was rear ended (and totaled) while I was sitting at a stop light. It was the worst car I ever owned followed by the VW Fox, and the Audi Fox. Everything that could possibly go wrong with all 3 of these cars did... several times.

Erm... how to simplify this...
First vehicle was a 1983 Toyota Helix. I had nine different VW Bugs, ranging from 1968 to my last 1975 Super Beetle. Three GM trucks. Four CRX's, all second Gen, all Si. A '83 Cutlass Supreme. Two EF hatchbacks, two EF sedans. Right before I got my FC3 I had two EK'S (EJ) one a sedan, one a coupe. Now it's just the FC3. I got rid of everything to have this car and I've been pretty satisfied with the decision!
