2008 MINI Cooper JCW cabrio (last of the supercharged 100, my baby, still have)
I always wanted a supercharged Cooper S and one day I will get one, but this means I will have to move somewhere else, since it was never imported here and there is no way to register one. I have ever known of only 2 of them in China, and since they aren't legal on the road, one was converted into a race car.

I guess if you're coming from Manual and aren't lazy. LOL

As long as there's a way I can have "control" over Automatic like Paddle Shifters, Tiptronic, etc. I'm good.

During the test drive and a month of ownership with light driving, I thought it was okay. Then I eventually grew to hate it more and more every day. It's so slow when you need it to respond. Not going to lie, my 98 crv had a nice responsive automatic then I got this cvt crap and am saying wtf is this bs everyday. You would think almost 20 years of advancements of technology it would get better but it's so much worse. I can honestly say that the CVT is the worst transmission Honda has ever made. Such a shame because I like how spacious and comfortable this civic is but the cvt ruins the driving experience. It's like driving a unreliable and broken car when it's not. I don't even switch lanes anymore because I don't even trust this tranny to engage and put power to the wheels, there's just so much disconnect that it's dangerous

You sure your transmission is working right. You sound like you're not even driving the same car as me. When I punch mine on the highway it gets up and goes.

Yes I am not the only one here who experiences this.

I guess the city I am in there is a bunch of heavy traffic which in turn makes the cvt civic not fun to drive.

I agree with BobM_jr, you should have absolutely no problem changing lanes safely with your car. I can understand some people might not be happy with the CTV when you mash on the gas pedal at a complete stop, but the car definitely doesn't hesitate while at highway speeds. You might want to get it checked out.

You mean CVT... CTV is Canadian Television Network.

CVT is crap. I won't even get a new SI with a weak clutch either... 2018 Hyundai Kona with 175hp/195ft-lbs 1.6T and 7-speed DCT.
