No pics, but I drove a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. N/A engine and 5-Speed manual with that nifty "Sport" button that would stiffen up the suspension and make the steering feel better. Now I drive a 2019 Civic LX with a 6MT. I'm not a guy into speed or anything, I'm into MPG and economy. More importantly, I'm into longevity. I'm confident my 2.0L 6MT Civic will satisfy my needs in a car for a long time to come.

Before the 2020 Si coupe, there was an 2018 Impresario Sport. It was all looks and sound.

I worked for a Chevy dealership for a while as a tech and had access to the wholesale line. Hence the history of older GM vehicles.

Starting in 1995 at 25 years old:

VW Polo
VW Golf
VW Golf GTI
AUDI A3
AUDI A3
AUDI S3
AUDI A4
AUDI A4
PORSCHE 997 S
BMW 328i

And since 5 months at 50 years old: my CIVIC SPORT 2020 that I Love and that I will keep for the next 10 years because I spent too much money on cars the last 25 years... no regrets life is short:)
Wow 8 VAG products and now a Honda?? Thats a lot of of money just on purchasing. Were they at least reliable? I know Audis are comfortable. More comfy than my 3 VW Passats. After that I lost so much money on fixing Mazda 6's made by Ford used that taught me not to buy cheap used again like that!! And now a 2017 Civic HB Sport. It's a different animal!

Nothing but fun little cars! Good work!

Question: Do you find the Fit's 1.5 similar to the Civic's 1.5?

They are probably alike but it’s hard to tell because of the weight difference. The Fit is much much quicker accelerating from a stop. By far, it’s the reason I enjoy driving it more than the Civic. The shift points are similar in the lower gears and then of course at highway speeds the Fit runs out of breath while I can pretty much stay in 5th if I wanted with the Civic.

I can only imagine how much fun The Smoking Tire guy had driving the turbo GD3.

All very expensive in maintenance ? German brands are not very reliable ? Happy so far with my civic ?

Wish I had pictures but cant find any right now :(

First car I learned how to drive on and drove for 3 years was a 2006 Acura TSX. Then went off to college and my sister drove it until it was rear-ended. She was totally fine but there was some frame damage on the TSX and my parents decided to sell it. Loved that car tho! I left for college and my parents bought the 2016 EXT that I drive now (bought it off them about 6 months ago). My sister drove the civic until she also went to college. Parents didnt let either of us take cars to school (worried about driving in the snow as we both went to up north). The civic sat mostly unused for a while until I bought it from my parents back in October for a really low price gotta love the family discount lol.

While my sister was driving the civic, I drove my Dad's second car a 2004 Z4. Learned how to drive stick on it. Such good memories in that car! So much fun driving a 2 seater convertible when you're 20! I'm very lucky to be able to drive that car. Still drive it sometimes when I go home to visit the parents but haven't in a while with Covid and all that.

Loving my Civic now but wish I had a stick instead of a CVT (sister cant drive stick). Thinking about trading it in for a Veloster N or saving up for a Type R or waiting for the 2022 Si. Want something more exciting as I mainly drive for fun now since I'm working from home. Trying to be patients and save up since I bought the civic so recently but I want more FUN and more POWER!

I have had Honda since 1985 and will not swop to any other brand, Honda is unbeatable

Vehicle before the Si was a 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition, bought new, that I finally sold after getting this car.

My favorite... a new 1982 Z-28 with a built 400HP 355 - 350 block with 4 bolt mains, bored .030 over, big cam, 2.02 heads - and a TH400 trans that went in after the modified stock 305 bit the dust.
