This is my 1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I think this is rebuild number two of the various 22r’s I’ve run in her. She’s under a tarp in dad’s garage the last eight months. Needless to say my civic is fun! I’ve driven her (my Runner) daily in some form or another almost 20 years.

lol I love my civic so much after driving that Spark. I was waiting for it to die completely, but I wanted to see how long I could keep it alive. Learn on a car to teach myself how to take care of a car I actually want. 2001 TL died from a common transmission failure. My dad got it for me to take care of my mom, and he understood.

2006 CR-V... wife hand me down

2005 BMW 330i... totaled while parked

2002 Civic... wife hand me down

1987 Benz 560SEL black/black... work moved me 31 miles away & it was not meant as a long-haul DD. My biggest car regret, hell, one of my biggest life regrets, is letting it rot in the backyard.

2007 Benz C230 Sport... great car except the throttle delay. Got bored of it + warranty ran out

1998 Benz E320... loved it, totaled it taking a curve too fast. Got it for a steal... buddy recovered it for his cousin halfway across the country who’s brother had stolen it. Got it for $3,500 when Carmax offered her $4,200.

2004 Ford Ranger... not Ford’s best years but fun to mod. Sold it when I got the ‘98 Benz.

‘92 Jimmy... loved the Vortec V6 engines. 4x4. Beat the crap out of this 1, sold it and had to repo it, sold it again for what I bought it for 3 years earlier.

‘91 S-10. Vortec. Wanted a stick. Totaled it

‘88 S-10. Vortec. Got bored of it

Sold my 128i M Sport 6MT and bought the Civic Sport Coupe with a 6MT.

BMW is so over rated, aside from a few of their M Cars. I always wanted a BMW and then I owned one for two years and was just so underwhelmed by the car. Took my Fiance's HRV in for service and saw a white Civic Coupe Sport on the lot with a manual. I was curious so just for grins asked if I could drive it. Dealer let me take it on my own for about an hour and I was shocked that it handled as well if not slightly better than my 128i, while being more comfortable and more economical.

Found a red Sport Coupe at another dealer 30 miles away and bought it a few days later.

This is my personal opinion I think BMWs quality stopped after 1989
they used to be nice compact driver cars like the 2002 to the 318i
once again this is my opinion

The Tibs are rarer these days, hardly see any on the road... Great car for what they offered...
My cousin had one and she was in a serious car accident, T-bone, and she walked away from the scene, so that's a testament to how well those cars were...

Yes they were solid built cars which unfortunately gave them a lot of weight my GT was pretty good but one time I had a 8 th gen SI pull away from me
