Got the new set up wrapped in Continental extreme sport 265/35
I wanted Hankook RS4, but we’re on back order as with every other tire I wanted. The Conti’s will do for now

Man thanks for sharing those pics. I haven't found many good ones out there and still waiting on mine to arrive in August...

Thanks and no problem. Exactly my struggle, couldn’t find any good pics and of all the ones available were from system Motorsports or Volk racing website. I’ll have plenty more coming when I get the car back this week.

Finally after cancelling a 2+ month wait on Goodridge SS lines the Deft Motion I ordered last week finally came in yesterday.
Girodisc rotors, DM lines, Power Stop Track Day pads, and my own custom made Ti pad shims installed last night. Some small fitment issues with the DM lines, one of the mounting holes on the proportioning block must have been threaded with a tapered tap. Which means either front line would have fit the passenger side of the car, but neither would fit the driver without the threads being fixed. Other than that I can’t complain about the quality of them.

Very nice... running same lugs but black with red caps. I heard red monster lugs chip & peel easy
they definitely do which is unfortunate. I was gonna get Kics in red, but looking at the new Mutekis as well. I saw a post where even the red Kics were flaking too, seems like im doomed either way.

I doubt it, but when I put the grill on the car I will let you guys know.

Updated the original post with the information. For those lazy too scroll up or hit the previous page, I'll cut and paste :D

Red H part # from ICB Motorsports https://www.icbmotorsport.com/jdmcifd2tyr4.html
Someone else posted this a while back in a different thread. I cannot take credit.

The grill requires a smaller red H than the FK8 uses. The FD2 fits the pro studio grill. You will need to remove the two tabs on the back, because they will not line up with the holes. I used a razor to shave the holes and then sanded the backing piece to the grill to make sure the red H fit flush and pressed the emblem on the grill. Fits perfect!

Pardon my ignorance on this topic but which Badge did you use? the front badge off the FD2 or the rear?

First ever track day is in the books. Did the TNIA event at Atlanta Motorsports Park yesterday. This was my first time ever driving on a track. I ran the car exactly as I have in autocross: 19" Motegi MR924, 255/35 Bridgestone RE-71R tires. Otherwise totally stock all the way down to the brake pads. It was pretty cold yesterday. Temps in the low 50's with a 25mph North wind. No issues with heat in the tires, in fact I suspect the RE's would overheat in the summer. They got a bit greasy a few times. The track is pretty tight, with a short front straight. The car did AWESOME. We did 3 20 minute sessions. I never had to give a point-by to anyone the whole time. This thing is FAST on the track. I passed everything from modded Corvettes to Porsche GT cars. I had no brake fade even with the stock pads. I use LogR to time a few laps and got well into the 1:30's. Coolant temps never got over 205F. The highest oil temp I saw was 232. I had only one issue: the tiny fuel tank. This track doesn't have a gas pump. I burned a quarter tank in each session, leaving me with just a quarter tank left at the end of the last session. In the final right hand turn leading onto the front straight I got a power cut (presumably due to fuel starvation). It almost spun me. Definitely an "oh shit" moment. Fortunately that was actually the last lap of the session. I'll bring a fuel can with me next time. I can't wait to do it again.
