Looks good but is the hood kinda off or the bumper?
just how the bumper is designed.
looks a little more off cause after i took the pic, i noticed the bump stops on the sides and the latch needed minor adjustments i think because the fiberglass on that top area is thicker than plastic.

First oil change. $43 and I didn’t get dirty. Worth it. Took the long way home after for a nice backroad rip. Spring is coming, and some semblance of grip has finally returned. Back at autocross by the end of the month, and onwards to my first track day in April. I can’t wait.

This arrived today. Looks really good, the way wood shimmers and color shifts in light is gorgeous. I do wish it utilized a “redder” wood (maybe something like bloodwood) to better match the interior.

Very light shift knob (they claim 60g). On the 2017+ shifter and shorter retaining nut it sits extremely low. Very mechanical and absurdly notchy feeling shift knob. Probably not a good choice for aftermarket shifters though.

Sweet! Unique, reminds me of a bee hive.

Wood is fairly decent insulation from cold/hot extremes as an added bonus.

Besides routine detailing, you may want to invest in a termite prevention plan.

Ask your friends if they would want to see your new eyeball shaped organic tree based shifter.
One of them might say....

(wait for it)

That’s beautiful. No more burned hands in the summer either!
