Installed the PRL TIP and P2R inlet gasket. Install was not bad at all. I was able to see both 12mm bolts with enough lighting, so no blind bolt. To reinstall the front/bottom bolt, I wedged a piece of a shop towel between the socket and bolt. I didn't drop any bolts into the abyss.

More accurate to say what I attempted to do today.

1) Install Perrin front tow hook. Battery on my drill dies as I'm drilling the hole in the fake vent. Okay next.
2) Install Rally Armor flaps. It's at this point I realize I forgot them at home. SMH.
3) Replace OEM oil dipstick with Boomba. The OEM plastic is surprisingly resilient wasn't able to break it apart with the tools I had with me. Next.
4) Remove turbo inlet pipe. Got to the last bolt all the YT videos say is a pain to reach. Confirmed. Yes it is. Adjust my ratchet to get an angle and then my 12mm socket falls off my extension and is now rolling around in the belly of the car.

?

I don't drink. But I am tonight.

1) just FYI in case you weren't aware, the perrin towhook is a cosmetic mod only and cannot be used for actual towing

3) is the boomba dipstick a direct oem replacement? Do you have to manually add your own low and high oil markers?

This doesn't quite count, but finally my second round of mods arrived and is about to be installed:
  • Hasport 62a RMM (I have a Perrin insert installed, but I'm upgrading)
  • Cusco centre chassis brace
  • Whiteline lowering springs
  • Spoon zero bumpsteer kit
  • Whiteline anti-lift kit
  • Whiteline rear stabilizer bar and end links
  • Hondata
I can't wait to report my feedback.

Sounds like R14344 had a much rougher day than I did. Only bad thing today was I drove 90 mins to a COVID shot appt and even though prescreened and cleared, couldn’t get it b/c wife is first line health care worker not me. Scheduling FL state contractor doesn’t know crap about state policy apparently, what idiots.

Anyway, installed Manicci custom mats. Even though inserts were supposed to be red they’re burgundy (darker than flash pic shows). I used existing Honda HFP mats (holes don’t align) until I get red ones, theirs look cheap anyway. Haven’t fully installed, just fit to settle first.

Also reinstalled OEM wheels w/Conti 6s for more asphalt fun & better grip. Only included pic to show what they look like w/Eibach Pro springs (-.8”-1”).

The tow hook is purely cosmetic. I plan to order the rear hook in the future to complete the "look" I'm going for. No intention of using them for recovery. More importantly no intention of ever being in a situation where I would be required to.

The Boomba handle uses the factory dipstick with the existing high/low indicator. Need to separate the metal away from the plastic. I've been attacking it with my drill for awhile now and broke the drill bit. This thing is no joke. I might take it in to work today and see if the Mat Techs have a belt sander I can use.

Lazy me would Paint OEM handle red, and order a Boomba decal on eBay but whatever works for you is fine here. Just hate to see a brother in a struggle.?

An old roommate of mine had a 2G DSM and under vacuum the charge pipe would compress almost flat.
