It is neat such a simple change gives some good feedback sounds.Today we installed a K&N 17-21 HONDA CIVIC TYPE-R L4-2.0L F/I TURBO REPLACEMENT DROP IN AIR FILTER. We just acquired our CTR late Dec 2020. I was looking for a quick easy upgrade. This upgraded I notice the the increase airflow and enjoy BOV sound will driving.

I had the K&N too but switched to the dry AFE version. Made me think without moist oil filter it could suck in more and they claim up to 1/4 more air in vs stock.
I couldn’t tell and diff in performance or sound but feel better (and poorer) for trying.
