I took the easy/ugly way out. At least I’m not the d-bag breaking my HPDEs rules anymore. And if I retire it from the track, then I’ll have a beautiful intact fake vent to go back to. ?

Washed her yesterday because it was "warm" in Ohio. I've owned this car for more than a year but it wasn't until yesterday that I realized that underneath the fake venting on the rear left has a break in it but the right side doesn't. How have I never noticed this before and why did they do this? I can't unsee this

last night installed both HKS oil cooler & HRS smoked side markers. The side markers are a nice improvement still need to wire up the turn signals but it was a good productive night. The HKS kit was used prior so I was hesitant when some missing hardware went noticed during install. Running Turbo blankets and Downpipe blankets so im hoping I can do some hondata logging and see if temp drop faster during day/night freeway pulls. will post pics later today

Got Fresh Waffles?
The challenge: Complete cleaning for DIY ceramic.
The problem: Four OEM waffles hide dirt well.
The solution: Spray with IPA solution, clean each of the approx 80 diamonds with a Q-tip.
All those who think they had clean cars, inspect and really clean these dirt magnets.
My right rear one had obvious white splatter that I thought was from pad cleaning too close. Turns out most of it was paint from the white puddle incident on the road month or so ago (irresponsible painter bounces 5 gal white latex across two lanes). If you look up pain in the rear, this is listed as, ‘See also’.
On to the front!

Thank you, I have some similar.
They’re not useful to try to remove paint spray dots within the grid. IPA softens the bond some but you still have to rub/flick it out. The small amount of dirt in mine with three washes since last drive (coating prep) tells me these were even dirtier when on the street.
