Adamā€™s Strip Show

So this evening, even though already washed, iron treated and clayed, used 3x wash of Adamā€™s Stripper Suds to get off my wax. Water sheets readily now vs. beads. This is about as close to snow as I hope we get in NW FL.

Time to polish the ā€˜nudieā€™ clear coat paint using dual action power tools, prolly Sonax Perfect Finish cream in the buff... ing pad after putting pasties on my sensitive (decal) parts.

Sheā€™ll be wearing Armor Shield IX for protection at the end after fore-days-of -prep-play.

Someone told me there were lots of innuendos in this post. I asked they explain what that means. Iā€™m shocked, for years I thought was an Italian suppository.

Looks like you got a little "too" excited there and sprayed all over your car... I can hear you saying "take that you filthy *****"

Oh and those tattoos don't help the situation either.

Finally put my wheels on. 18x9.5 +45
265/35/18 Yokohama Advans
Looking good! Got any side view shots of what should be close to flush?

Are you planning on lowering at all to tuck too (springs or coil overs)?

Local friend has red R with same brand tires I think but he went 235/40 but I donā€™t remember if 18 or 19 Rohanaā€™s

Went with 255/35-19 here but -1ā€ on Eibach Pro on TSW 9.5ā€ ET41, Goodyear A/S Eagle Exhilarate.

Curious if anyone dropped an inch has gone much wider, maybe on 10 or 10.5 inch wide wheels without rolling or contact?

Maybe Iā€™m alone in wishing Honda had optional 19ā€ wheels in 9.5ā€ so 35 series fit well yet still keep+60mm offset. Same wish applies to 18ā€ as Iā€™d have liked to preserve totally neutral zero scrub radius.

Very nice @Topsportsman916 :) Engine looking very, very clean, brother!

Noticed a zip tie holding the black hose to the AC line to keep it from the sharp edge of the CCV catch can nut.

Here is another option to avoid putting strain on that AC line. I cut a piece of rubber hose, slit it down the middle, then wrapped it over the black hose to serve as a softener. Works good. For a cleaner look, can use a black hose.

Did you get the optional petcock drain valves for both cans? Highly recommend doing so if didnā€™t.

Found it was carpal tunnel inducing to unscrew the catch cans to drain and each time increases the chance of a leak.

Have a valve on the PCV. Have a 2nd for the CCV but havenā€™t had time to install.

Am going to install a length of hose to both cans then have the drain valves located towards the bottom of the car to empty when doing an oil change.

I finally got around to installing my Radium Engineering expansion tank and catch cans(pcv and ccv)

i been looking at buying new wheels but i want to stay with 20's but so far all i can find are 20x8 +35 offset and 20x10 + 40 offset in a style i like. almost seems no aftermarket wheel comes in a +60 for 20's

Tom, I agree that your fix is better. The tie wrap was a quick fix for a road test. Now I need to get some tubing and do it right ?
