Where’d you get the side markers from?

I got the Honda OEM from Taiwan and just cut the 2 tabs. Got it from an Ebay seller. I heard the ones from Japan don't need tab trimming but I just couldn't justify spending $250 for the Japanese Honda OEM vs $100 for the Taiwan Honda OEM with the only difference being the tabs. I also darn near couldn't find any in stock, even RHDJapan couldn't get them.

...got my wheels back from powdercoating. Satin Black. Car looks 100x better (to me) with the red stripe removed from the wheels and kit. Stripe on the kit is just pinstriped over for now. Last pic is a bit grainy as I just got the wheels on at dusk after finishing up the ceramic coating on the wheels.

Where did you get this done at? I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Jersey for a solid paint shop.

I gave it a wash and installed sound deadening on the hatch interior and rear doors. I'll probably replace the vapor barrier another time. I had already installed sound deadening in the trunk well area. I still need to do the front doors.

For anyone who wants to do this, be careful of the gunk that holds the vapor barrier. It sticks to everything oh my god.

Does doing the trunk door help with the sound? I did the 4 doors and trunk interior. Seems to have helped with the noise. But, I also got a louder exhaust at the same time. So road noise and maybe some drone noise went done. Have some leftover sound deadening material. Not sure if it's worth doing the trunk door.

This was the first event of the year with the group (Nasa Utah) that I go with, the 2 previous were canceled. There were quite a few restrictions in place for it, temps being taken at entry gate, no spectators, masks to be worn in public areas etc.

Based on his lines and ability to pull on that straight I assumed it was the M240i (RWD). He did cruise by my paddock area after the session and said "that was fun" but we didn't really chat. I zoomed in on pics I had that included his car but all I could see were the M badges.

I've been trying to track the driver down so I can confirm what the exact model was and share the video with them in case they were wondering my lines and where I was catching back up.

I haven't noticed a huge difference, but I was like "why not", I had a bunch of materials still.

Custom cut and installed my own 3M ppf on multiple front end areas. Cost me all of $50 in material. Also laid some of my vinyl again. And lastly put my fkx grille in. Definitely a more aggressive look. Fit was not perfect for my OCD but as far as aftermarket goes I'm still satisfied with it. Finish reminds me of painted over plastic. I like it though.

Continued my driver mod and learning what the Type R is capable of. I’m the limiting factor and probably will be for a long time, but working to improve.

Sunday 5/17/20 was my third track day. First@Streets of Willow. Beginner group.
Following through on something I never thought I’d do, getting some experience and having fun. Had alignment re-checked And fresh front pads installed. Bedded and ready. New tires going on tomorrow.

Next up: Friday 5/22/20 @Button Willow.

I ordered a full interior from Sweidit, today. V2 thick steering wheel, shifter wings, and the lower wings. boot, and gauge hood. Cant wait. Thanks, Sweidit.
