Not exactly a car mod but still Type R.

Modified the street racers driver with appropriate R chronograph.

Any difference in cabin noise after? I'd like to get the hatch floor area done and eventually replace the sub and put in an amp.. Thanks.
Stoots,
Letā€™s see what L-Dragon says, just wanted to let you know Noico 80 mil with foam under it squelched a good bit of interior exhaust noise. You can surely tell and speakerphone calls Iā€™m told by Mrs she can hear me better, less engine.
All OEM stereo for now and it sounds brighter, more clear and a good bit more bass isnā€™t drowned out.
Not amazing but worth an hour or so and the cash.
Deadening is a good cheap mod in all areas you feel like tearing into.

Next priority for me would be wheel wells (not quite sure how yet), then doors.

The foam sheets (Noico were cheap and together both still low $, high ROI.

Kilmat noted afterwords is even cheaper than Noico butyl, just as good.
I used Noico 80mil and then Noico RED 150mil foam on top.
I mostly did this to remove some of the exhaust noise and some rattles I had in the rear.

Rattles disappeared and exhaust noise at lower RPMs is definitely quieter. Road noise at highway speeds are quieter as well.
Audio sounds much better than before. The system overall would definitely be improved with better components (I might change out the woofers and sub another time).
One thing I like is that the sound the door makes changed. It's like a good thunk sound when closing the doors.

Depending on the material used, I think if you did the entire floor area, you'll get a lot more out of the deadening and make it quieter. The foam is also supposed to help with thermal regulation, but I haven't noticed anything significant yet.

I just put Honda Hack on my Headunit and honestly, that helped the most with getting clearer audio instead of from Android Auto.

...got my wheels back from powdercoating. Satin Black. Car looks 100x better (to me) with the red stripe removed from the wheels and kit. Stripe on the kit is just pinstriped over for now. Last pic is a bit grainy as I just got the wheels on at dusk after finishing up the ceramic coating on the wheels.

UNRIMSIN - Verb, (uhn-rim-sin).
1) The act of time travel to just prior to the point realizing you rimmed/curb rashed your wheel for the first (and only?) time.
2) The shameful act of repairing said damage in a failed attempt to do #1 above.
3) Time travel via phogograph as in before damage, after damage, and repaired.

Swapped out Lami yellaā€™ fog film for a more blacked out smoke set from Premium Auto Styling. No yellow belly here even if it functions better. I drive daytime mostly and fog is impenetrable when thick anyway so all you get is what youā€™re going to hit lit up with highlighter. Iā€™m highlighting with black magic marker now.

All four lights (headlights included) have film scratches that make them look hazy. I tried putting fog film on dry and tuning extra w/squeegee, after that just used some heat and clean wet fingers to flatten to avoid scratching. Same results as headlights, look crappy-hazy-scratched-foggy when lit. No scratches show prior.

Iā€™m no pro but not totally inept w/overlays & decals. either.

Does everyone else with tint overlays on bright lights have same problem?

Bout 2 weeks worth of upgrades. Mugen shift knob, Mugen start button, JDM side markers, traded out the odd sized 235/45 R18 Michelin A/S 3+ for Michelin 4S 245/40 R18 (yall welcome, TireRack updated their recommended sizes for Type-R 18s lol) gave the Camry to my daughter and traded my truck to get the wife her dream car..... a 4runner.... Back to the old trusty 2011 Accord on those stormy days.

Upgrades not pictured because boring: Dream seat cover, trunk tray, rear seat back covers and Mishimoto catch can.

Edit: And a picture first day back at the office.

Fell in love with the Seeker knob and collar set up the first time I saw it on Instagram. Added Overland wings and shift boots to complete the center console!

Whereā€™d you source those Overland wings and shift boot?
