Took advantage of the nice weather and drove it to a park! Despite the potholes I hit, in comfort mode on the roads throughout the ride wasn’t too bad.

Also hit up some of the roads in the area, all in all a fun day.

I drive around up there from time to time, definitely some nice roads around Kent, Sharon, Warren, Litchfield etc.
In Connecticut, detour to avoid Hazardtown, taste grilled corn ($9) in wealthy Cos Cob.

Try South to PA sometime? There’s a quant Amish town not far from New Holland, East of Bird In Hand, Below Blue Ball named Intercourse, Pennsylvania. They offer bed and breakfast but not much more other than cool T-shirts. See lots of Quaker Oats ladies (contrary to popular belief, not Barbara Bush) frolicking and horse-drawn carriages, cheese making and huge livestock auction (the butcher seems to only sell dead animals).. Who named these places?

I gave it a wash and installed sound deadening on the hatch interior and rear doors. I'll probably replace the vapor barrier another time. I had already installed sound deadening in the trunk well area. I still need to do the front doors.

For anyone who wants to do this, be careful of the gunk that holds the vapor barrier. It sticks to everything oh my god.

Any difference in cabin noise after? I'd like to get the hatch floor area done and eventually replace the sub and put in an amp.. Thanks.

Stoots,
Let’s see what L-Dragon says, just wanted to let you know Noico 80 mil with foam under it squelched a good bit of interior exhaust noise. You can surely tell and speakerphone calls I’m told by Mrs she can hear me better, less engine.
All OEM stereo for now and it sounds brighter, more clear and a good bit more bass isn’t drowned out.
Not amazing but worth an hour or so and the cash.
Deadening is a good cheap mod in all areas you feel like tearing into.

Next priority for me would be wheel wells (not quite sure how yet), then doors.

The foam sheets (Noico were cheap and together both still low $, high ROI.

Kilmat noted afterwords is even cheaper than Noico butyl, just as good.
