Welcome Mr. Shred and congratulations!
I first thought Shrek and double checked because he’s the one I thought of that could lift a 3,171 lbs Type R.
Don’t hurt me, I live in a place far far away.

(The pedal on the right is most enchanting)
Hah! No harm no foul. I didn't know what username to use, so I used shred since I play guitar and then I had just been hanging out with a bunch of my skater friends when I was making the account.

That pedal is indeed enchanting but I'm trying to stay composed until I've mastered my clutch. I'm here to kick ass, not get my ass kicked.

Finally got to edit this shot I got before work what you guys think?

Very artistic tweaks Billy!
You obviously are good at this. Interesting how you backed up onto the curb, nose to the ground. Also cool that you had confidence to leave the window down in this not so rural area.
It’d be neat to see the pre-edited version but that’s like asking a magician to show us how the trick is done. I’d rather just be entertained by more of your talent.

Washed for the first time since.. maybe November? Getting wheels and new lights coated and then all polished up for spring.

Easter Egg Hatched in 2019?

There’s no ‘’Easter Egg’ design on the bottom of my center console Rubber pad bottom as Honda-Pro Jason talks about and has been seen here before with varied designs molded in. Not unless my design is Traces of Carbon Fiber at Night With Snow Flurries.

Did Honda stop this in 2019? Mine was bought new from dealer in ATL.

I dont remember which thread has it nor could i find it searching about the several chance diff logos that used to be in the R.

Really disappointed (kidding) but maybe lack of design saves me a few hundredths of an ounce, giving me an inconceivable speed advantage?

None of the type rs had this Easter egg. As far as I know, the Si does.

What did you set your gate and throw settings at? Also, do you have any issues with the stiffness when going from 2->Neutral and 2->3?

Acuity shifter went in today and wow it's a night and day difference. And this is coming from someone who really likes the stock FK8 shifter too.

Still playing with the settings, but so far I actually like the gate spacing at the greatest distance. Too short feels a little off for me. but I have the throw itself at 2 and the knob height at about the lowest it can go.

There is some stiffness at first, but I found that the more I drove and messed with it, the more it 'broke in'. But it's definitely way stiffer than OEM. Just something I figure I'll have to get used to.

Ha, those old ZŪM posters! Classic.
Yeaaaaaaaaaah - I am so glad somebody recognized it. I can post the full pictures if you want to see them?

I bought those like 15-20 years ago, my first eBay purchase as a kid. I finally hung them up in my home office. Super happy to have them up.

Premium day for decals here at the Type R Boneless Chicken Ranch (talk about stiff competition in this upstanding business that runs like cluckwork).

So, eyelids - check. Bloodshot too - check. Lazy-Dave R-ranch branding iron logo on front wheel vents - check. Obligatory fake rear fender vent - check.

Foghorn Leghorn Stench Killin’ Premium Air Revitalizer, I-say I-say they’re shipped boy.

Fohorn Leghorn Premium Foggy-lights Rooster-chasin’Smoky Tint Covers - flyin’ in by Thursday, eggciting boy, don’t just sit there, do somethin’!

Received my PRL Intercooler and did my first actual bolt on install with a buddy of mine.

Got the car up on ramps eventually and proceeded to pick away at the clips.. bumper was easily 90%+ of the install. Took more than I needed to off, so we'll know for next time. Also, the dang tabs near the side marker and under the headlights were a pain too.

I knew from the pictures that the PRL intercooler was much bigger and probably heavier than the stock one, but holding it in person was still surprising.

Relaxed for the rest of the day and then got home and flashed the updated OTS tune to include the intercooler. Trying to learn what the heck I'm reading in the datalog I took afterwards lol.
