BOTL for a stolen Type R in San Diego area taken back in Mar. Owner claims to have seen it May 8 commuting, reward upon return. Contact D. Martin Jr, (619) POK-NFUN.
Haha you almost had me out looking for a type R locally. Good thing I saw the phone number.

Forgive the assist, I know this company...

These may have come from Premium Auto Styling in Cali. These are decals not cut tint, either works.

They have a decent collection of accents that help make your R look unique, but not once the word gets out. I have several of their decals and others including these arrive in next two days. This should complete my set of 7 R items. Good quality stickers,, banners, wrap, even good flag collection.

Typically no instructions but if you need them there’s web, otherwise just stick it to your forehead and go vroom-vroom.

For anybody considering wrapping or decals on this plastic piece. I made my own decals once in that area. A couple months later decided I didn't like that location and removed mine. It ended up taking paint with it. Had to use touchup paint to correct.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Volks.
I use a little bit of heatgun before pulling decals off to soften bonds hardened over time.

Will keep your experience in mind when taking mine off in couple years.

Premium uses wrap material on some decals instead of decal vinyl or window tint.

Yeah this was vvivid wrap. I think its just the mix of cheap paint, it being a plastic piece, and the strength of the adhesive on the vinyl. I've never had issues on laying this stuff over metal that's painted. But, you're right, heat gun before removal probably would have been a better idea.

Got it tuned. RPM lead failed on the baseline. Assuming it made 340-350ftlb. Made a bit more than I left with, but had to turn down the boost.

So you were making 378/380 before but decided to tune it down a little? So you are at 354/350 ish?

May I ask why?

I installed the 2020 shifter assembly along with Acuity base bushings. Not a huge difference, but the shifter arm is definitely shorter and the centering spring is a bit stiffer.

Centering spring is most likely stiffer because it's new . When I had my 2018 shifter replaced (with a 2017-19) part, it came back a lot stiffer simply due to the fact that it wasn't broken in.

Finally a product named after a Civic Type R!

Being a (retired) GI we’ve used this quite a bit.

AWE recommends Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream. You can get it online or Wally-World once you run out... 5 cars from now.

I don’t know why they call it Polish anyway, I put some on a big hot dog and it tastes nothing like sauerkraut. My Smurf teeth are icy white and tingly now though (both of them).

354/350 baseline. Left with 378/380. I want to say it was making ~385/390 before he turned it down.

Installed the Hybrid Racing shifter today. I’ve only had a chance for a short test drive and I feels amazing. It feels so much more direct now, love it.
