why are you guys hating on the Kirkland brand oil? do any of you actually have knowledge on this? it is most likely just repackaged Mobil1.
I have read about Kirkland oil on bobistheoilguy oil forum. It is made by the same company; Warren Distribution (http://www.warrendistribution.com/) that blends oil for Amazon Basics, Supertech, and other private brands.I have no idea what’s in those jugs - and apparently neither do you. But, buying off brand oil, or gas for that matter, isn’t where I choose to save a few bucks.
Good info. But I guess I’m not really interested in reading up on oil and even with that info, I would not purchase (nor never have) one of those brands of oil.I have read about Kirkland oil on bobistheoilguy oil forum. There is nothing bad about these oils, they meet or exceed the industry standards for API Service, Dexos etc.
I personally would not have an issue using Kirkland, Supertech, or Amazon Basics oil but I am kinda brand loyal to Castrol lol.
excited to see the resultsCut my driver’s side front fake vent in preparation for the HKS oil cooler. However, just changed oil a few weeks ago, so will probably wait until the next oil change to perform the full install.
Boosted180sx shared a very ingenious tip that made cutting the plastic super easy. Heat the razor blade with a butane torch or heat gun.
Marked the diamonds that needed to be removed then cut them out. The hot blade cut through the plastic like butter.
Then ran a file to smooth the cuts
Fake vent reinstalled. Now real and functional for the black powder coated oil cooler whenever I get around to it
The girlier one is sort of a red herring. Have to not chew too hard or wind up breaking teeth and getting plates.Pics or it didn’t happen.
Curious on how they light up. Any videos on functionality? They don’t light up.
If you let me borrow the corporate platinum card I can make them light up PDQ boss. They don’t light up.
They do, they just dont expand onto the hatch portion unfortunately. The "animation" is so short due to the size of the signal. If these had sequential turn signals, that would have sealed the deal for me..
Oh sorry, I misread what you had originally posted. I don't believe there's a white light version; just red, blue, and turquoise from what I've seen. Can you direct me to the modules you purchased for the footwell lights? Thanks!
EDIT: Realized the first link you sent had the interior lights. Yours looks like it's white but the link you gave is for a red one. Is there a white version?
I like these a lot more. They do, they just dont expand onto the hatch portion unfortunately. The "animation" is so short due to the size of the signal.
There are replicas in the works that do though.
Gorgeous!i finally got around to installing the depo clear reflectors, and removed the "civic" emblem from the rear.....to me the chrome civic emblem doesn't go with the black chrome type-R emblems. just imo
That's dope!!They do, they just dont expand onto the hatch portion unfortunately. The "animation" is so short due to the size of the signal.
