I don't have that setup, but I doubt it would answer the problem...seems like a better flow of air to the radiator or better/aftermarket radiator and/or oil cooler would answer those problems
yeah. it should be more coolant temps and oil temps over the intake temps that is an issue at the track. Although a lower intake temp would be nice.

I also dont doubt the performance of the PRL intake but a 80 degree iat difference? I just don't see that happening. I never seen temps that high (160 deg) cruising even when i had the garbage injen a year back or so in this california summer unless the engine was turned off and was cooking under the hood.

Couple things today, changed the transmission fluid to GM Syncromesh (2.3 qts. and 1/2 bottle of Ford friction modifier) it shifts so much smoother now! Raceseng Slammer knob and finally fixed the cosmetic thing that Honda does over here in America and looks soooooooo out of place, replaced the chrome CIVIC emblem on the hatch with the Honda Access black chrome version to match the Type R emblem!

rolled over 5k yesterday. Drove just as much in the past 2 months to burn gas and take some datalogs (~600 miles) as i did the whole year till that point lol.

also put on the boot by overland designs a few weeks ago. waiting for my steering wheel from sweidit which should be in the next week or so. Then I need to get the shifter wings after that and probably be done with the interior.

Having a daily driver and being busy at work, not having enough time to do any car stuff, and having another car to take out for a fun drive will do that to you.

I do feel like its a waste having it sometimes. I've actually had the car for a little over 2 years and I've only put on 1200 miles so far this year and 600 of it was past 2 months because i needed to burn the ethanol in my tank and in the process of doing an etune. If it wasn't for that, it'd probably still be hovering around 600 ...
I'm not like purposely trying to keep the miles low though. Just don't have enough time to split the fun drives i take between two cars.

I have been thinking about moving down to only 2 cars recently though. That would actually be the smarter choice for me but idk lol.

That's pretty slick. I assume it is designed after a piston. All it needs is some rings!
Trying to find something that will fit or cut in deeper on the grooves. Might have to find clear coat since its mild steel and will tarnish pretty fast.
