I hit up cars and coffee Charlotte and saw quite a few posted up together and even some members. @suichgo the car is a beauty man!
Thank you, Mufasa. This was my first Cars and Coffee in Charlotte. Turn out was great. I’ll need to come more regularly.

Get audio done right instead?

Nice setup. It looks like you’re running an Audiocontrol DQDX as your DSP? I’m kicking around the idea of adding just an amp/sub with something like a Kicker Keyloc LOC or going with front components, a sub and a 4 channel amp off a nicer DSP. Not sure how far down the rabbit hole I want to go.

I went with DS18 throughout, their 8/10 level since 25 years around military aircraft doesn’t help hearing. Overkill too though, XSPower start battery, aux is yellow top Optima (red decals on both), isolator, big 3, 10 farad capacitor (keeps twin 10” subs happy). Lots of butyl mat added all four doors & rear tray. It sounds good but not competition SPL… oh, and a 320A alternator to keep everything maxed.

RepyT's setup is awesome, and looks beautiful in person. The car, not RepyT.

Sticking with the thread topic, Ferb was washed and I added a few interior trim pieces for the door sills and the dead pedal.

Indirectly related to my Type R, but this season it'll get a lot more attention in front of the lens 📸

Was overdue for a new body and this one has vehicle tracking which should make for some fun rollers.

Does everything work as it should? Did you get a type r unit or just a regular civic unit? would be interested in more details and reasoning.

I haven't tested everything but buttons and knob do work as does everything so far on the touchscreen.

I just bought a used CTR touchscreen from member here parting out. Honestly, I didn't have to have the buttons (survived almost 5 years without it) but I made an offer and it was accepted. My 2018 touchscreen worked perfectly fine. I would say it was upgrade for convenience rather than necessity.

I think a lower trims (Si) screen should work. It has 4 buttons vs 5 buttons on the CTR. Buttons are there for short cuts for the touchscreen, so one less button equals one less short cut. The map button is omitted from lower trims after a quick search.
