What kind of brush should be used?
You want something with firm bristles, but not too stiff. I use a horsehair brush like this: https://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guy...fix=automotive+interior+brush,aps,125&sr=8-30

I would have to say the feel is not good. To me, it is neither soft nor comfortable by any means. That's more what I meant by disgusting lol. Mine didn't get that gross, only really the matting I mentioned since I tried to wash my hands or at least wipe them on a clean paper towel each time I drove it. I really just don't like anything about the OEM alcantara wheel. The thicker 'Buddy Club without the logo' hydro carbon one I have is much nicer. I'd drop a link for everyone but the seller told me it was the last batch and it's been like, six months by now I think.
Yeah if you just don't like the feel of Alcantara that's just a preference thing. It's the people that dog on it for getting crusty/nappy but don't bother doing basic upkeep that bug me.

Just clean the damn thing once a month you filthy monsters. Alcantara is so easy to maintain.
Guess I am a monster cause I have to clean mine every 1 to 2 weeks ?. Having a job that involves lots of dirt/oil no matter how long you wash your hands there will still be some left.

Haha, the timing will vary a bit for everyone based on your skin and your circumstances. My point is just that maintaining Alcantara is as easy and if your Alcantara wheel is getting gross, a leather wheel would also get gross in a similar time frame.

What kind of brush should be used?
i have that horsehair brush like @Ouhei linked, some interior detailing brushes, and a foam pad cut into 1/4.

i typically use the interior brushes to brush the dust off, spray sonax on the foam pad and apply to the wheel. Wait a few mins and just wipe with a lightly damp microfiber. if its a little more "flat" or dirty, i use the horsehair brush instead of the foam pad.

Copped today from another Owner moving on to a widebody setup. Now I wait for suspension parts to eventually show up.
