So many people bailing out! I won’t do it. My last Carvana offer was $40890. Problem is that I can’t replace all of the CTR’s functionality for less than that. So instead of selling I doubled down and ordered new wheels.

Hey on your rear diffuser fins, are those 1/4 or 1/2 pinstripe tapes? They look nice, looks like 1/2 tape, and where did you get the tape from?
Yeah I got you. It’s 1/4 inch. When installing it, you can easily peel it off again to adjust, but after a day it’s really difficult to take off (just FYI)

here’s the ebay listing:

the pinstripe works well on side mirrors as well:

Ahem!
Please don’t think though that once you get tired of the overlay color that it’ll be simple to remove it and return to OEM red stripe as It may not be.

Caution: Your new tape, applied a cleaned vinyl tape red OEM surface with fresh adhesive on back of choice color will stick to the old tape face much better than the original red tape will stick to the hard plastic imitation textured molding groove.

in close to English, know a do might mean a redo.

I learned this lesson after a few days experimenting with 1/4” sides and on front & back 3/8” antique red (clotting blood) and went back to OEM. Even in that shot period and temps in 50s max the two stuck well and tried to pull off the OEM. Not my first rodeo so I used a gamut of IPA soaked Qtips as the separator run in short sections to break that adhesion. Over longer times and thermal cycling that bond will become stronger than the tape underneath and require reapplication. If you overlay, know this going in and recommend removing red OEM tape first as black won’t show like slivers of red that can show especially on short radius turns on back bumper trim.

My GTO was a blast on the track. Steering with your right foot negates the weight aspect. Plus, my redneck ass is too tall to fit in a corvette.
I had the chance to go drifting in The (Holden) GTO and it was a HUGE fun quotient!!
It is also heavy but the length lends to a very catchable car at slip angles.

Yeah I went over a year with the metallic blue pinstriping tape and last week removed it for sunshine yellow (for that reverse-LE look). Removing the blue without ripping up the red underneath took a little more finesse than the last time I did it, but it's doable. But at this point, I agree that it's easier to remove the OEM red stripe completely if you plan on keeping a different color on there for more than a couple months.

I fixed the third flat on the third tire today. Now only one virgin tire left…..I can plug a tire in 10 min, lol.
These are the softest? Tires I’ve ever owned.
And, they have about half the tread left…..so at 15k I have a ways to go. I’m gonna need more plugs lol.
