After track session #2 at Inde Motorsports went to get lunch and fuel up. This happened on the road. Limped back to the track to put on my street tires and call it a day. Atleast I got home early from the track. Unfortunately I was just starting to learn the track!

Looks like a nice next upgrade for the interior of the car. I think I should address the OEDRO floormat lip issue I'm having with back heel getting caught first. I think a piece of electrical tape would resolve that issue.
Electrical, Gorilla tape, whatever holds up.
Being a golfer, sometimes hybrid shoes want to play Lego with the heel plate.
Don’t need fancy shoes for ride down the beach.

That’s a bummer. With that much WHP (900-ish?) tires take a beating.

Installed PRL HVI couple days ago. Invidia exhaust also arrived. Deciding if I should tackle installing the exhaust myself or pay to have it done. I also ordered some Yokohama ADVAN V105 tires but I haven't heard anything for about 2 weeks now. Starting to wonder if the order got lost in the internet ether. Also got a foam cannon attachment today and gave the car a much needed bath.

Next on the list I think will be a RMM, anti lift kit and possibly a set of lowering springs.

Doesn't look like you are actually On the Beach. I mean if you were on the BoardWalk I could let you get away with that. But I don't think there is even any sand under your tires!

Going full on ... and saying F*(K it. Ordered:

HKS Legamax
H&R springs
RV6 front pipe
Radium Coolant Tank

and debating about getting Hasport 62A RMM.

Life is too short.

Just get the Perrin RMM insert - it eliminates wheel hop and the NVH is completely livable. Priced right too I think like 30 bucks? No regrets been running mine for close to a year.

I know. Been debating Perrin vs Hasport 62A. Heard there isn't really a big difference between the two. And at that point - but as well get the 62A. But yeah 30 bucks is hard to beat.

I really wasn't getting along with the 2020 Alcantara wheel, so we swapped it out with this OEM Si core with the leather kit from East Detailing, just to test how it feels. Yes, it doesn't look as special, and the center marker is a little tilted (first time trying this DIY kit), but I much prefer this over the Alcantara.

This is a temporary solution while we wait for our steering wheels to finish production. COVID has delayed them badly.

Well guys I managed to get my J's cover installed and in the process I cut this rubber piece. I put some glue on it and taped it up until I get a new piece on there and I got new clamps on..and upon start up I got a really rough idle. Triple checked all my connections and everything looks solid. Looking to bounce some ideas.

Curious if it's because this piece is torn and there's some sort of vacuum leak

Thoughts?

No codes either just a really shitty idle.

thats what im thinking too, I was hoping my temporary patch would help. Maybe ill reset the ECU so itll do an idle relearn and see if it helps.

Any idea what that part might be called? Im trying to see if I can order it online in case my local Honda doesnt have it.

Gave the R a break and took the freshly detailed S2K to the car show with perfect weather on Memorial day.

Plan on installing a few new parts I have laying around, hopfully in the next week or two. Don't have pictures of XDI pump and PRL HVI, but here are a couple of the goodies ready to install.
