Happy to report that I have not rubbed at all yet. I have had my 180 lbs buddy and a 6FT butcher block inside and still didn't rub.

I think the /40 is what's making you rub.
probably ... I mean its not bad it hardly happens and I have to be loaded but still its annoying when it does lol....thx

Did you notice a difference with the filter?
having driven a little bit since install. i dont know if its just because texas is starting to cool down now or if the filter made that much of a difference. wot makes nice turbo spooling sound; can hear the bypass valve now with enough load. pulls a little harder in each gear, especially on the highway. its nice improvement overall.

Can confirm 255 40s will almost certainly make you rub at some point depending on the sidewall profile, but always being in R mode helps a lot. I almost never rub now that I'm always in R mode.

Installed the winter tires - Enkei SS05 18x8 40mm with 235/45R18 Continental VikingContact 7.

Drove about 100 miles in heavy rain/wind and 40°. Lots of wheelspin at launch and even in 2nd and 3rd if I punched it at all.

Lateral grip seemed good even with lots of wet leaves on the road. I tried a couple of hard braking tests. Those seemed good, too.

Recommend: Having a 5 pin Acura/Honda Homelink adapter like this made electrical set up so i didn’t need to modify existing wires; just carefully insert wire from this adapter’s Pin 1, 2, 4, 5 into appropriate existing colored Honda wire (connections below).

Wiring connections:
Adapter Pin 1 to Honda Blue wire
Adapter Pin 2 to Honda Black wire
Adapter Pin 3 (omit)
Adapter Pin 4 to Honda Grey wire
Adapter Pin 5 to Honda Red wire
Wiring enables map lights and Homelink operable while car is off
