Any noticeable heat soak?
Nope, not to me and not any that my instructor mentioned. And that was including running 3 session of 20 minutes each with only 20 minutes between them. I let my instructor drive it in his class/group after I had done my 3rd session and then I ran my fourth session after he ran. He did get oil temp up to 262F but was able to bring it down to ~240F by not going WOT for about a minute. Car cools down fast (2020).

I installed the Hybrid Racing Ti knob. I had to revert back to the 17-19 nut. I used a garden hose o-ring to take up most of the slack between the nut and the 20-21 boot collar.

Tomorrow’s install project courtesy of ASR (with a special assist from buddy Whoskyle).
R2 the front H

Meticulous is what I’ll call it, slow to everyone else, just did front badge tonight, will do back one later.

I used Spiderwire as recommended (80 lb is overkill), warmed old one up and wore gloves as it could cut skin along with old adhesive.

Got it all separated from mount plate running line 360 to just the two alignment pins and tried to get both out intact, one broke, no biggie, original badge fine.

The Aero Spec Racing Carbon Fiber replacement H is great quality, about 1 mm or so smaller so placement matters. Little mount pad and adhesive back heat blast never hurts, press gently & evenly, hold 30 seconds to ensure good bond.

The orange glow pic had flashlight on it and was taken off axis.

After 297 days from order to arrival, I feel it was worth it. I think things are getting back to normal at ASR.

Matching ASR hood scoop ordered 31 Jan should ship soon.

Brad does it right vs. right now.

Did a sunset beach run prior as R was lonely during our vacation.

Installed the other side of my itasha wrap this past weekend.

Also finally did the 1st oil change at 8500 miles. Maintenance minder at 15%.
Going so long without the oil change worried me slightly. I was used to doing oil changes every 5000 in my previous car.

I'm gonna change out the MTF fluid on Wednesday with ACDelco to see if it'll help the notchiness while shifting.

i finally got around to installing the depo clear reflectors, and removed the "civic" emblem from the rear.....to me the chrome civic emblem doesn't go with the black chrome type-R emblems. just imo

Back badge was easier to remove, pins OK.

Red is slightly bolder than Rally Red. ?

Got some goodies in today. So I pulled the stock exhaust this morning thinking the UPS dude would show up only to arrive after it got dark. The only thing I ended up doing today was installing the front pipe from PRL. But because I had to close up shop I ended up putting the stock exhaust back on. Looks like the Sequence is going on this weekend instead.
