I was so excited mine arrived early. I put them on using the correct method.

After all cleaned up I was admiring them. That was the first time I saw there was a textured and smooth side since no advice in the instructions. I called ZL—oops!

Actually contemplated how hard it’d be to unbolt the body, turn it around and have the worlds first six speed 169 mph backwards driving Type R... with perfect rock guards.

It didn’t take as long to just reverse the flaps.

The ZL1 Rockguards? I actually was able to do it without removing the rear wheels. It depends on how short your screw driver is

Yes, there’s a video (not for Type R) where a guy jacks up the body so there’s enough room for a bigger screwdriver, seemed worse but diff clearance so apples & shock absorbers.

No. I used a standard ~5" long screw driver. Wasn't able to get perfectly aligned with the screw, but good enough for doing it by hand. Had I tried a power drill, might have needed to.

Thanks! No I only got about 9k out of the stock tires. These are Nankang NS-25s 255-35 with Perrins 27mm wheel spacers.
