What did you do to your Type R today?

Bought more parts for a car I don’t technically own yet. Floor mats, interior LED’s, and cupholder/cubby liners. I pick the car up tomorrow. Then I get serious about tint and ceramic coating.

Does anybody have a good link for a key fob condom that doesn’t obscure the red H? That’s one of my favorite details on the car.

Does the silicone have a sticky feel? Looks good, I'm just concerned with it attracting dust and like getting caught/grabbing onto the inside of your pocket from being sticky.

I noticed the mismatch as well. The white paint on the Mugen kit is slightly whiter than the CW. Blue and Red seems to match perfectly. I’m curious if the kit comes painted from Mugen or it is painted by the vendor. Kinda sucks that they show no love for PMM.

My lug nuts arrived today. Thanks to @System Motorsports. Still kinda bummed out that I couldn’t jump on the latest batch of TE, but it’s OK. I’ve never seen such a beautiful lug nuts. This is an extravagant piece for me.

Yesterday I applied 3M Scotchguard to all the seats, floors, center console (not the steering wheel) and used 3M Delicate Surface masking tape (#2080) to tape off everything. Pig Lipstick?
So I got kidded a little about having a cheesy Alcantara steering wheel cover vs changing it out for a 2020 OEM one. That might be just beyond my comfort zone, skill set, and wallet right now. That’s why I got the interim cover.

To class up the cockpit a bit more I just added some shiny wine red metallic trim to outline the inside steering wheel gaps In three areas, This dresses it up I think, like it? Also added a straight piece of red trim between infotainment and climate controls, connecting with red the console Alcantara pads. The pig got dressier, now and is ready to dance in the street.

This isn’t easy to install. The flat spatula that comes with helps open the gaps but it’s still a bitch even with some lube on the trim (spit worked). especially top corner tucks.
